Hello!
My name is Edward Grigassy and I am a music educator, bandleader and guitarist located in the Houston, Texas region (U.S.A.).
I love engaging people with music and guitar! If you want to play more or learn more on your guitar, I'm ready to help. Let's get started!
Please feel free to get in touch with me at:

ANNOUNCING:
June - August, 2024
For students of all ages and levels:
You are invited to my in-person Jazz on the Classical Guitar Workshop, Jazz Guitar Ensemble Workshop and/or the Classical Guitar for Fun and Success class.
How much can you improve in 4 weeks? How will you do at the final concert? We will work together through the enjoyment of playing and rehearsing music (carefully selected for maximum success). We will build confidence through focused rehearsal so that your final performance is an unqualified success and an accomplishment you will treasure forever.
I have been teaching classical guitar to all ages since 1990.
I've been organizing festivals and workshops since 2000. Here's my full bio.
I'm thankful to be on of the board of a wonderful non-profit 501 (c)(3) guitar education project called the Guitar Initiative,
Please let me know if you'd like to get involved with guitar classroom education events here in the Houston area.
Along with other team members of the Guitar Initiative, I am thrilled to be part of the Summer Guitar Conservatory
A four-day guitar camp focusing on rehearsal and performance of beautiful, expressive guitar ensemble music for students ages 8 to 18. The camp is free for the students thanks to generous donors and sponsors. We have had an annual Conservatory gathering every year since 2015 (except 2020 due to the pandemic).
The next Conservatory camp will be June 17-27, 2024, at Bellaire High School in the Houston area. Here is the site for more information:
